Principal Engineer/Manager, Qualcomm Research
Xinzhou Wu received the B.E. degree from Tsinghua University, China in 1998, the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000 and 2004, all in electrical engineering. From 2005 to 2006, he was a Member of Technical Staff at Flarion Technologies, which pioneered in OFDMA based cellular technologies. He is currently a Principal Engineer/Manager at Qualcomm Research, leading Qualcomm research activities in the vehicular space. He currently holds 75 US patents and has more than 100 pending US patent applications in the area of wireless communications and wireless networking. He is a co-author of the book “OFDMA Mobile Broadband Communications – A Systems Approach” with Dr. Junyi Li and Dr. Rajiv Laroia.
