Roy is a senior principal engineer at the Nissan Technical Center North America (NTCNA) in Farmington Hills, Michigan where he is responsible for the research and development of cooperative driver assistance systems based on 5.9 GHz DSRC. Roy has over twenty three years experience in ITS and is currently involved in the US Department of Transportation’s connected vehicle technology research program through the Crash Avoidance Metrics Partnership’s Vehicle Safety Communications 3 Consortium. Roy is also vice president of the VII Consortium.
