Janice Partyka is principal of JGP Services, a consulting group that guides companies with marketing strategy, including investigating new markets, ensuring product roadmaps match market needs, creating marketing campaigns and overall marketing communication. Her clients are focused on mobile technologies and services and include Daimler, ESRI, Globys, Mack Trucks, Navistar International, Nokia and Runzheimer. Throughout her career, Ms. Partyka has served in leadership capacities in marketing, media, and government relations in the mobile technology industry.
Ms. Partyka also serves as contributing editor and columnist for GPS World Magazine’s LBS Pulse, providing insight on location-aware mobile offerings and technology, including infotainment and the connected vehicle. At times, she serves as an expert witness for industry lawsuits and conducts prior art searches for patent cases. As a twice-elected member of the board of directors of the E9-1-1 Institute, she supported the work of the U.S. Congressional E9-1-1 Caucus to ensure the operation of mobile emergency communications. Ms. Partyka was also a technology advisor to the Obama transition team. Janice Partyka is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Michigan.
