YANG Qi, female, born in 1970, Doctor of Transportation Planning and Management of Southeast University. Her current positions include: Deputy Director of National Center of ITS Engineering & Technology, Secretary General of China National Technical Committee of ITS Standardization and Deputy Secretary General of Working Group on Standardization of IoT Application in Transportation.

Dr. Yang participated in several programs: National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program) – “Interoperability among Distributed Transportation Information Systems” and “Study on Architecture and Sensor Networking Technologies of Sensing Network of Road and Infrastructure Status”; Ministry of Transportation program – “Standardization of DSRC Applications in Transportation Operation Inspection”; National Key Technologies R & D Programme of China – “Key Technologies and Pilot Projects of Integrated Management System of High-Grade Highways”, “ITS Standard and Testing” and “Study on Casual Relationship between Road Safety and Unfavorable Weather Conditions and Solution”; science and technology program in western China by Ministry of Transportation – “Study on ITS Standardization”.

As a member of core expert team, Dr. Yang was engaged in “Development of Standard ITS System and Critical Standards” (national program), “Study on ITS Development Strategy and Standardization” (National Key Technologies R & D Programme) and “Connected ETC System for National Highway” (Key Technologies R & D Programme during the 11th Five-Year period).

Moreover, Dr. Yang is also active in the development of multiple national and industrial standards as chief or assistant compiler and international standards and is member of expert teams for standardization of ISO/TC204 ITS architecture and others.

Dr. Yang has made her various papers public on international and Chinese journals and at different meetings. She has several patents and published two books.

Dr. Yang has been awarded Special Prize for Technology Advancement by Highway and Transportation Society, Second Prize of National Science And Technology Achievement and Second Prize for Technology Advancement by Highway and Transportation Society.
