CTO, Cisco China SP
Ming Zhou is a 19-year Cisco veteran and recently named as CTO for service provider technical operations for Cisco China. During the last 10 years at Cisco, Ming was responsible for product management of core routing platform CRS-1 from the early stage conceptual design to wide adoption in almost every service providers in the world. Ming Zhou received Cisco Pioneer Award in 2004 for his pioneering work on CRS-1 development work. Between 1998 and 2000, Ming was the head of consulting engineering team in Cisco China and contributed to all major nation wide IP backbone projects such as 163 and 169 etc. Prior to join Cisco, Ming was network architect at Oracle Corporation. Ming Zhou hold MSEE degree from Rutgers University and BS in Physics of East China Normal University.
